Amazon Campaign Forecasting

Amazon has introduced a new tool for advertisers that simplifies the prediction and estimation of average clicks and sales based on the bid and budget of the auto campaign for a selected ASIN. This tool offers guidance by forecasting potential metrics of clicks and sales based on the campaign settings.

To generate a forecast, you must input at least 1 product, targeting criteria, and campaign bid. It’s a valuable resource for predicting campaign performance, although results may vary. This tool is particularly useful when setting up campaigns for seasonal events such as Prime Day or Black Friday, when increased bids are necessary to improve competitiveness.

We conducted practical tests and found that the outputs closely matched the forecasted results. It’s an effective way to configure new auto campaigns based on the desired outcomes, and it allows for easy adjustment of keyword bids.

Please note that this feature is exclusively available for auto campaigns, and forecasting is not available for manual targeting.
